Audition registrations open April 1 and close on May 20, 2025. You must register for auditions in advance and a time will be sent to you prior to the audition weekends.

Concerto competition: final round November 2 at the University of Ottawa
The Ottawa Youth Orchestra Academy is hosting the final round of its concerto competition, Sunday Nov. 2 at 2pm in Frieman Hall at the University of Ottawa. Admission is free.

So many of our ensembles and students participated in the Kiwanis Festival (National Capital Music Festival). Senior Strings received gold and has been invited to provincials! Symphony Orchestras

The Concert Orchestra provides advanced string, wind, brass and percussion students with a full orchestral experience, including sectional coaching, and a number of performance opportunities.

The Symphony Orchestra provides the Academy’s most experienced players with the opportunity to learn advanced orchestral repertoire and to perform in at least three public concerts each year.
